The groups are done… say hello to knockout football
Man City finally remembered they’re Man City, smashing 5 past Juventus in a statement performance.
Auckland City – bless them – finished with a hard-fought point thanks to their part-time footballer/full-time teacher who scored the equaliser in a heroic 1-1 draw with Boca Juniors. They won’t be going through, but they’ve won our respect.
Inter Miami are flying the flag for Group D after a 2-2 draw with Palmeiras saw both teams advance. The Messi Effect is real (even if it's mostly psychological at this point).

Leaderboard Update
The Nearys have hit the top, now holding a 2-point lead – but this is far from over. There are 14 players within striking distance, just 3 points or less behind!
Meanwhile, Eamonn has dropped to the bottom of the table, clinging to one remaining team and praying for a miracle.
